Wally, an award-winning teacher of radiology to medical students, residents and fellows, has been a member of the Thoracic Imaging section of Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania for over 20 years, with a special interest in diffuse lung diseases and infectious diseases. Richard is a world-renowned educator in the field of abdominal imaging and Professor of Radiology at the University of North Carolina Hospitals, U.S.A. He has written 8 textbooks on abdominal MRI. His main expertise lies in cross sectional abdominal imaging with an emphasis on MRI, with a particular interest of liver, pancreas, kidney and bowel diseases.

Tineke has more than 20 years of experience in the field of cardiovascular imaging. She has experience in clinical cardiology, thoracic surgery and congenital heart disease, but ultimately chose to become a radiologist. She is an expert in cardiovascular imaging and tenured staff member at Groningen University Hospital. Her main research topic is imaging of congenital heart disease and the right ventricle.
Wouter is a radiologist by day and software developer by night. After doing a postdoc at Stanford University and an oncologic imaging scholarship at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, he is now a member of the abdominal imaging faculty of the UMC Utrecht. In his spare time he created the software used to author the books published here on doRadiology.com.
